Cathi Johnson is a Jefferson Award Winning Volunteer for Elmwood Cemetery. She has spent countless hours raising, repairing and restoring the monuments in the Chapel Hill public lots 2 and 3. Here is some of her work. Cathi has studied the proper method for monument preservation at the Association for Gravestone Studies, and she has worked carefully with the staff of Elmwood Cemetery to come up with a program that most benefits the cemetery's monuments.
