A tour of the greatest internal conflict our country has known.

Elmwood Cemetery is known to be the final resting place for people of all walks of life, dating back to the early 1850s. Among our 80,000 residents are hundreds of officers and soldiers who fought in the Civil War. Some were Confederates. Some were Unionists. Their lives tell the story of a pivotal moment in US history.

Join us for a 90 minute walking tour of the story of the Civil War as it is found at Elmwood. Capacity for this tour is highly limited due to social distancing guidelines. This is an all-walking tour, so please wear your comfortable shoes. Advance registration is required and the cost is $20 per person. In the event of tour cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, admissions will be refunded.
