African American History of Elmwood Cemetery

Celebrate history with us.

For almost 170 years, Elmwood Cemetery served as the final resting place for African Americans who lived, loved, worked, and contributed to the history of Memphis and United States. We seek to illuminate the stories of just some of their lives during this 1-hour Zoom presentation being given by veteran tour guide, Mable Barringer. Saints, politicians, physicians, musicians, attorneys, and more will be featured!

This presentation is being given on Tuesday, February 16th at 5:30 pm on Zoom. The cost is $10 per person.
