Cemetery Work: How Cleaning Monuments Brought Me Joy (Encore)

There is comfort to be found in the cemetery.

This year has posed incredible challenges for us all. Sheena Barnett has always loved cemeteries, but after losing a close family member to Covid as well as her job, she found herself stunned, but looking for something to occupy her mind, and her time.

Enter Elmwood Cemetery, where Sheena was introduced to stone cleaning. What began as volunteer work for her has become a passion. Join us on Tuesday, December 15th at 6:00 pm and you'll hear from Sheena about her journey during the pandemic and some history that she's uncovered over these socially-distanced months.

Cost is $10 per person. Call 901-774-3212 for information.
