Our first film of our summer series is The Parent Trap! Filmed in 1961, Hayley Mills plays twins who, unknown to their divorced parents, meet at a summer camp. Products of single parent households, they switch places so as to meet the parent they never knew, and then contrive to reunite them.

Elmwood's Cemetery Cinema offers visitors a chance to enjoy the beauty of the cemetery with a fun, unique film series. Cemetery Cinema takes place as the final light of the day washes away. Our show times are based on the setting of the sun. Films are projected onto the roof of the historic Cottage, a National Register Landmark since 1978. All films are shown outdoors, so we encourage weather-appropriate attire. Guests should bring lawn chairs and coolers are welcome. Parking will take place outside of the cemetery on Dudley Street. Security will be made available on Dudley Street for the duration of these events.
Please read the following information carefully so that you know how Cemetery Cinema works:
Cemetery Cinema is a fundraising event for our nonprofit cemetery; admissions will not be refunded after the event has passed. These special events raise funds for the maintenance of the cemetery, and rain dates are chosen in advance of each showing. In the event of rain, admission refunds will be issued.
Rain date: Friday, May 27th at 8:00 pm
Admission will be only honored for the title for which admission was originally purchased. Children aged 9 and younger are not permitted at Cemetery Cinema events.
Pets will not be admitted at Cemetery Cinema events.
Tickets are not issued for these events; your Event Brite purchase confirmation will act as your only receipt. Please print the receipt or save it on your phone so that you may show it at the gate. Your name will be on a list at the admission point.
Proceeds from Cemetery Cinema events support the maintenance of the historic cemetery grounds.
