Kimberly B. Richardson is a Memphian who came to love photography through many years of taking photos of random buildings, clouds and things that made her appreciate the world a little more. Her photography is another outlet of her ability to tell a story, coupled with her published books and short stories. She is an award winning author and editor for the Memphis based publishing company Dark Oak Press and is also the Programming Director for the science fiction convention Memphis Comic and Fantasy Convention. Kimberly always carries her trusty Kodak EasyShare C182 digital camera and her iPhone 5c, for she never knows when a photo opportunity will present itself. Her plethora of photography can also be viewed on the websites Flickr.com and Behance.net.
Kimberly has always loved the history and peace of Elmwood Cemetery and how it is a major part of not only the history of Memphis but also the American South.
Kimberly is a proud Midtown bohemian, as she resides in the Central Gardens neighborhood.
