Susan Clement is a Memphis photographer who came to photography through a Project 365 in 2010, where a photograph is taken each day for a year. She has most recently participated in the 52rolls.net project where photographers throughout the world each commit to shooting a roll of film each week for a year and share their experiences in a collaborative blog. While she does use a digital SLR in some situations, Susan's preferred medium is film and she uses a wide range of cameras including 35mm, instant film cameras and medium format cameras.
Susan is drawn to Elmwood Cemetery through her lifelong appreciation of cemeteries as places of beauty and remembrance and her love of Memphis history and people.
Susan is a resident of Cooper-Young and is married to Scott Moore, Principal Trumpet of the Memphis Symphony Orchestra.
